The peculiar touch that is making his trademark is the binar structure of his compositions: it works as a sea that swells in tempests to then stills in gentle, languid lagoons. The effect is hypnotic and puts you in a kind of cottony state that is very comfortable.

Incredible work. The anxiety and horror of the ocean is so present in the music and lyrics. Sad that I came upon this project after its conclusion but excited to see what the musician behind it will do next if anything. Will be a blessing regardless I figure.

God, there’s just so much here to enjoy. Not all of these artists are Syrup Moose Records artists (yet), but the list Syrup Moose friends is long and distinguished. And just about every sub-genre of the metal world is represented here quite beautifully. 100% worth the price of entry.

This is a nice surprise, especially the first half of the record. Plans For The Woods reminds me a bit of a darker Kong for example. Not what I expected, but pretty nice. I am not a big fan of the vocals on some tracks; perhaps they will grow on me a bit.
